2 Corinthians 9:6-7But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.wow! what a powerful verse! God loves a
CHEERFUL GIVER! =) i've learnt much about giving to God yesterday in service. God doesn't need our money, He doesn't need our finances.. so why do we need to give tithes? tithes are our token of stewardship before God. it is our test as to whether we are faithful and trustworthy stewards before God. just like Adam's token of stewardship is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and Joseph's token of stewardship is his master's wife, our token of stewardship is the 10% of our monthly income that we give to God. God looks at how we pay our tithes and He will know if we are good stewards. as long as it is possible for God to bring money through us, He will bring money to us! =) so let us all be
Cheerful Givers and
Faithful Stewards!!!
